How many USB ports are there?
The HomeBase Foundation comes equipped with two discreet USB power kits conveniently mounted on both sides of the platform for easy access to charge your devices while you sleep.
How are the USB ports powered?
The HomeBase utilizes one power supply unit that will require plugging into an electrical outlet.
Which mattress can I use with this foundation?
The HomeBase foundation is designed to support all Nest Bedding mattresses.
Traditional box springs and flexible slat systems change the intended feel of your mattress, which is why we recommend using a slatted, solid foundation like the HomeBase to experience the full comfort of your Nest mattress. This foundation utilizes two fabric-encased slat packs that support your mattress using perfectly spaced and untreated pinewood.
How far apart are the slats?
There is a 2.75" distance between each slat.
There is a gap between my slat packs. Is that normal?
Yes. There should be a slight gap between both slat packs to carry the regular slat/gap spacing.
Can I attach a headboard to this foundation?
Yes. The HomeBase now offers the option of purchasing a matching, pillow-backed headboard.
A HomeBase Headboard must be purchased with the HomeBase Foundation because these items are handcrafted and made to order. Purchasing together ensures the predrilled headboard brackets are aligned properly.
Do I need tools for assembly?
To make things easier, the HomeBase Foundation was designed so no tools are required for assembly.
A screwdriver is required to attach the HomeBase Headboard legs and adjust their height.
Can the HomeBase foundation be disassembled?
Yes. Follow the assembly instructions from the last step to the first to disassemble your foundation.
